Job Description
Responsible for performing the full cooking process using established recipes. Generally fully responsible for a station, including prep lists, closing/opening, informing Chef of needs and working productively with minimal supervision. All functions of Basic/Cook 1 – PLUS: •• Have advanced knowledge of cooking methods, prepping, recipes, etc. • Fully responsible for a group of stations setup/cleanup • Work with Chef/manager to establish pars, recipes, substitutions, and general kitchen functions • Actively search for safety and sanitation issues, fix when possible, work with Chef/manager to fix if necessary • Have advanced knife/equipment skills and be able to train others • Perform spot checks on Basic/Cook 1s – look for recipe standards, clean stations, guest service, and other tasks being performed correctly • May be responsible for training, checking out, filling in at stations for breaks and employee absences • May assist in opening/closing the building – cleaning, assembling equipment, organizing, moving tables & chairs, setting up stations/coolers/freezers, etc. • Some FOH work may be required – assisting FOH employees, making change, covering breaks, etc. • Other duties as assigned by management
Experience/Requirements
Multi-outlet / Station experience (i.e. – more than one job cooking) Previous customer service experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand for entire shift and lift up to 30lbs.

Uniform provided. All food and beverage employees must maintain clean appearance, adhere to grooming standards, and provide their own approved non-slip footwear.
