Job Description
Lit Operators / Ticket Scanners assist guests with loading and unloading chairlifts, scan lift tickets and assist guests with any ticket issues, help guests with any questions or concerns, maintain lift area by shoveling and raking snow, removing ice and setting up and maintaining lift mazes. A-Basin Lift Operators enjoy interacting with guests and strive to provide exceptional customer service every day, are passionate about skiing/snowboarding and enjoy sharing their enthusiasm with our guests. Upon hire, this position requires successful completion of the Colorado Passenger Tramway Safety Board’s Lift Operations test during training. Various start dates are available between November and January; all start dates are snow dependent and are subject to change.
Experience/Requirements
Two years of customer service experience. Must be able to ski or ride at an intermediate level, (skills will be assessed by manager.)
Physical Requirements
Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions, ski or snowboard at an intermediate level, stand and or walk for up to 8 hours, climb ladders, have full range of motion, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Additional Requirements
Must have own ski/snowboard equipment in safe working condition. Employees must provide own water proof snow boots, layers and outerwear, including sunglasses/goggles, hat, and gloves etc. .
