Where is A-Basin?

Arapahoe Basin is located 68 miles from Denver, in Summit County, Colorado. Summit County is home to the Breckenridge, Copper Mountain and Keystone Ski Resorts as well. The towns of Dillon, Frisco, Breckenridge and Silverthorne are all within a 15-30 minute drive of Arapahoe Basin. Summit County is supported by a free shuttle bus system to all towns and areas. Getting Here

By car from Denver: The resort is a 96 mile drive west from Denver International Airport via I-70 west. Take I-70 west to Silverthorne (exit 205), then travel 12 miles east on U.S. Highway 6. Or, choose the 68 mile scenic route from Denver by taking I-70 west to Loveland Pass (exit 216), then proceed west on U.S. Highway 6 for 8 miles.

By air: Denver International Airport has daily flights to and from most major cities. Also, the Colorado Springs and Vail/Eagle Airports are served regularly by major airlines from cities all across the country.  Employees who are not planning on bringing a vehicle to Summit County do need to arrange from their own transportation from DIA to Summit County. Options include shuttle services (Colorado Mountain Express), bus services (Greyhound) and taxi services (a taxi will be your most expensive options). Once employees reach Summit County, we will do our best to help you get to employee housing or to the ski area.

By bus: Summit County offers a FREE bus service from multiple locations around Summit County. Visit www.summitstage.com. Please keep in mind the Summit Stage only runs to and from Arapahoe Basin during our peak season. During our early season and late season, no free public transportation to and from the ski area is provided.

Proof of eligibility

Eligibility to work in the United States is required. We WILL NOT be sponsoring H2B visas this coming 10/11 season. We require all employees have the necessary documents to prove work eligibility. This required proof is either a US passport, Non-US passport with approved work visa, Alien Registration Card, OR Driver's License, State Identification Card, Military Card and Social Security Card. You will not be able to start work without presenting the above documents. All identification must be current. We cannot accept expired ID's or photo copies of identification.

Appearance

For all staff, hair is expected to be clean, combed and neatly kept. Hair longer than shoulder length for men must be in a ponytail. No radical or fad hairstyles or unnatural hair coloring is acceptable on any staff member. For men, neatly groomed facial hair is acceptable.
