This season is Arapahoe Basin’s 75th anniversary and you’re invited to help us celebrate! Join us for three days of celebratory events on the mountain, in the base area, and in our 6th Alley Bar & Grill.
There will be fun, games, shenanigans, music, great food and drink, and good times with friends old and new. Check out the weekend itinerary below and help us celebrate 75 wonderful years of being The Legend.
FRIDAY, APRIL 1
1946-Themed Dinner
Make a reservation for a unique dining event in the 6th Alley Bar & Grill. Dressing in your finest, 1946-inspired costumes is highly encouraged.

SATURDAY, APRIL 2
Bump and Bash
We are bringing it back to the 1970’s, mogul style! Pack your long skis, your jeans, your DayGlo, and come prepared for some bumpin’ at The Basin. Prizes will be awarded to best jump, best costume, and whatever else we think of.

Party in the Park
Come hang out and show off in the park with music, prizes, and fun features!

- Price: FREE
This is going to be a fun park session with prizes ranging from beanies, socks, and gift cards, to snowboards and a pair of skis! Arapahoe Basin Park Crew will be handing out prizes based on creativity, effort, and skill. Anyone is welcome to participate!
Plaza Apres Party
Join us for live music, beer, costume contests, and birthday cake, of course!

Performances by Beloved Invaders
Uphill and Chill
This after-hours uphill skimo event will feature two courses, a shorter "course" and a challenge course. Everyone will finish at Black Mountain Lodge for beer, pretzels, and prizes. Doesn't get much better than that! Costumes encouraged.

Chill Course
The Chill "course" is really a choose-your-own-adventure route. We ask that you not start until 4:00 PM and plan to be to Black Mountain Lodge by 5:00 PM so you can enjoy the chill part on the deck with your beer and pretzel! You are also welcome to do part of the challenge course and cut out early if that is what you prefer. Enjoy; see you at BML.
Challenge Course
We will start at 4:15 close to the large wooden fence by the creek. As we climb Wrangler, we will stay hard climber’s left next to the rope line. Enter into the lower loop of Chisholm trail continuing into the middle loop of Chisholm. A little trip through the trees on the snowshoeing trail will take us to the bottom of the East Wall.
After some pleasant and pretty flat wandering in and out of the trees, we will come to our Avalanche Beacon training area where we will transition to ski down Sundance. If super mellow is your pace, fell free to just wander from here to Black Mountain Lodge for more time to Chill 😊 .
At the bottom of Sundance, transition to skins and climb up through our new single-track alternative trail in the woods between Sundance and High Noon. You’ll climb up the last part of High Noon past Black Mountain Lodge, and again you have an opportunity to call it good and Chill 😊 on the deck while your more driven pals continue up Grizzly to the top of Pali lift and on….. After 5 PM you will be forced to Chill 😊 or no beer for you .
Pass the top of Pali and enjoy the views of the Beavers as you traverse the ridge to the Cornice Run. Soak in the best alpine glow in the county as you climb the Cornice Run to the summit and transition to ski down Lenawee Face passing the Steilhang Hut and on down to a Black Mountain Lodge finish. Now you can totally enjoy your pretzel and beer. AND CHILL 😊

East Wall Scavenger Hunt
Search for prizes hidden on our legendary East Wall terrain (experts, only). Afterwards, we'll be hosting a celebration and live music at Black Mountain Lodge. This event is subject to change based on weather.
