Watch Last Year's Recap

This year, we reached out to several local organizations to collaborate and be a part of Pride Weekend.

One of these organizations is Club Q. Club Q, the Colorado Springs LGBTQIA+ nightclub and site of the horrific mass shooting on November 19th, 2022 that killed five and injured dozens more, has announced a timeline for the Club’s reopening efforts through 2023, along with a plan to alleviate financial hardship of former staff, contractors and entertainers. For many, Club Q was the first and only place they felt safe to be themselves.

Club Q has partnered with HB&A, a women-owned architecture and planning firm based in Colorado Springs, to achieve their goals of rebuilding a safe space for the community as well as an appropriate tribute to those that have been lost through hate. We are proud to support ClubQ this Pride Weekend.

We are also excited to have Mountain Pride at Pride Weekend this year. Mountain Pride, based in Colorado's Vail Valley, is an organization inspired and driven to serve the needs of our LGBTQIA+ communities. LGBTQIA+ people in small towns and rural communities face unique challenges in coming out and being out. Meanwhile, they frequently live in communities with few or no resources for LGBTQIA+ people, forcing them to travel long distances to access the services and care they need.

Mountain Pride is devoted to strengthening its foundation and expanding its reach as an organization by establishing supportive, safe spaces, enhancing family acceptance and understanding, and offering access to education, resources, and programs.
