The Reverse Enduro MTB Race

Sat, Jul 31

Time: 8:00 AM

A "Reverse Enduro" is exactly as it sounds: a timed uphill climb and an untimed downhill.

A-Basin is renowned for its annual winter Enduro. While we aren't replicating the 10-hour ski and snowboard event exactly for summer, we are bringing the vibe, the passion, and the legend with the inaugural Arapahoe Basin Reverse Enduro MTB Race!

The course will ascend more than 1,500 vertical feet over 3 miles. You'll begin your climb on 1.8 miles of pristine forested singletrack (Argentine North Fork Trail), then finish on a grueling, 1.2-mile dirt road climb (our summer service road) above treeline to the summit of the Zuma and Lenawee Lifts at 12,456 feet. Descend the road to finish on our new, bike-only downhill trail, Wheels Up. It's a rolling, jumping, berm-y good time that will make you forget the pain of the climb.

Riders will compete in their categories against the clock for guts, glory, Strava bragging rights (if you're into that), and prizes!

We strongly encourage costumes, wacky outfits, or your speediest bike suit to show how hard you Strava. We also highly encourage and welcome inviting friends and family to cheer you on and heckle your competition. The Reverse Enduro, like our Winter Enduro, is all about community, camaraderie, and fun.

Need to quench your thirst post race? Combine your Reverse Enduro entry with a ticket to A-Basin's Brewfest to enjoy local brewery tastings, house-smoked BBQ, and live music by our favorite house band, Hobo Village.
