The Mountain at the legendary Arapahoe Basin Ski Area
Looking at the face of this mountain, it's easy to see how our founders believed that Arapahoe Basin could be one of Colorado's premier ski destinations. Set at the base of the Continental Divide on Loveland Pass, with a summit elevation of 13,050 feet, A-Basin offers over 100 trails, boasting high-alpine bowls and deep, north-facing powder stashes. Whether you're into groomed cruiser runs or steep chutes and glades, the Basin has it! Elevate your experience this winter and see why Arapahoe Basin is called the Legend.
Since 1946, Arapahoe Basin has been serving up an authentic Colorado ski experience for skiers and riders from all over the world. We're often the first ski area in Colorado to open and the last in Colorado to close. Arapahoe Basin receives an average of 350 inches of snowfall annually.
Our amazing mountain has been rocking wintertime adventurers for 70 years now. We work hard to preserve the mountain's natural beauty and help our guests do so as well.
From the first season with just a tow rope to our 70th anniversary season with an expansion in process, over $5 million in base area improvements since 2013, and a bustling four-season business - Arapahoe Basin remains one of the most authentic and fun ski areas in Colorado!
