Ikon Pass at Arapahoe Basin

Make the most of your 2024-24 Ikon Pass

Ikon Friends & Family tickets are NOT SOLD ON-SITE. ALL LIFT TICKETS must be purchased online in advance. Tickets frequently sell out in advance of weekends.

No blackout dates for Ikon Full + Ikon Base Passes. No reservations needed.

Arapahoe Basin is not to be missed. Named "most challenging terrain in Colorado" (and #4 most-challenging ski area in the West) for the second year in a row by SKI Magazine readers, we are also known for our accessible mountain and ease of navigation, phenomenal yet affordable food, close-in parking (almost all free), welcoming and laid-back vibe, and stunning high-alpine views.

A-Basin is 90 minutes from the Denver airport, one hour from Winter Park, and 30 minutes from Copper Mountain. We do not have on-site lodging but are easily accessible from the towns of Summit County and have a great lodging partner in The PAD Silverthorne.

Ikon Pass FAQ

Do I need to make a reservation at A-Basin?

Nope!

Can you print my Ikon Pass?

You will receive your Ikon Pass in the mail. We will re-print it for free one time. After the first time, there will be a $5 charge each time you need your pass to be re-issued.

What if I run out of days at A-Basin?

You can use your Ikon Pass holder friends and family discount to save on lift tickets for yourself. Or, grab one of our multi-day packs. We no longer sell a spring pass and unrestricted multi-day packs sell out early season.

How do I buy discount friends and family tickets? Is there a limit?

You can purchase as many of these as you like in a season, as long as they have not sold out for the day you want. ALL TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED ONLINE. You will need your Ikon Pass number and should be sure to input the ticket-user's name, not yours. You do not need to get a voucher from Ikon's website.

Why do lift tickets sell out?

Our goal is to protect the experience by not cramming as many people on the mountain as possible. We are aiming for quality over quantity, and trying to manage to our comfortable carrying capacity of 4140 skiers/day. Limiting the number of tickets we sell for historically busy days helps us do that, along with being on limited Ikon Passes and limiting the number of full-season, unrestricted A-Basin passes that we sell.
