IKON PASS BENEFITS, RESERVATIONS + FAQ

2020-21 A-Basin Pass FAQ

What if the 2020-21 ski season is shortened?

Arapahoe Basin has a long season, typically October to June. That said, we never guarantee the length of our season. Historically, we have had years when our season opened later or closed early due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances. We fully intend to operate for the full, 2020-21 winter season. However, because we do not and cannot guarantee the length of a season, we do not refund season passes.

What is the A-Basin refund policy?

Arapahoe Basin pass products are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE under ANY circumstances including, but not limited to, unplanned closures, snow conditions, weather, natural disasters, pandemics or other acts of God.

How do I get discount A-Basin friends tickets?

These MUST be purchased in advance online. Visit our ticket e-store to purchase discounted passholder tickets. Your active A-Basin season pass card number will be required to activate the discount. These cannot be purchased onsite. Please do not bring someone with you who does not have a valid pass or pre-purchased ticket.

What if I lose my pass?

We will re-print your A-Basin or Ikon pass for free one time. After the first time, there will be a $5 charge each time you need your pass to be re-issued.

When/how will I receive my 2020-21 season pass?

PASSES WILL NOT BE MAILED.

We have new RFID cards this year. Please stop by the ticket window on your first visit of the season to A-Basin or any day from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Can I get a senior pass if I’m not 70 years old yet but will be next ski season?

(THIS PASS IS SOLD OUT)

You must be 70+ years old at the time of purchase to qualify for a senior pass. We will sell the senior pass throughout next fall and winter, but the price will go up.

I am in college now but not next fall. Can I still buy the College 5 Pack?

(THIS PASS IS SOLD OUT)

No. You must be enrolled in school and show proof of current enrollment at the time you pick up your pass in fall 2020. So, if you are just starting college/graduate school this fall semester with at least 6 credit hours but haven’t taken classes yet, you DO qualify for the College 5 Pack. Just bring proof of enrollment with you when you pick up the pass.

How do I get my uphill access pass?

Sign in to your store account to reserve the pass for free (full-season passholders, only, all others can purchase it on our store) and sign the uphill waiver. Pick it up as soon as you can from a ticket window, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. daily. Please do not re-use the uphill pass from the previous season. If you are unfamiliar with our uphill policies, review this page

Can I upgrade a limited pass to a full season pass?

In most cases, yes! You can apply what you spent on an Any Day pass to a full season pass for the same season (20/21) if the full season pass is still available. You will pay whatever the pass price is at the time of your upgrade.

FULL SEASON PASS IS SOLD OUT. YOU CAN UPGRADE TO A MIDWEEK SEASON PASS AS LONG AS THEY ARE AVAILABLE.

What about my unused 2019-20 Multi-Day Pass days (includes Elevation Passes and Any Day Passes valid for 1-5 days)?

Any day(s) that you have remaining on your 2019-20 multi-day A-Basin pass will be transferred to the 2020-21 season. Your pass will be valid opening day 2020 through February 28, 2021 with no blackout dates or restrictions.

Remaining Any Day or Elevation Pass days are restricted for use only by the person for which they were originally assigned and are non-transferrable. Refunds will not be granted for remaining days.

To redeem unused day(s) during the 2020-21 season, please visit our guest services office to pick up a new RFID card once we are open.

What about my unused 2019-20 Transferable 4-Pack Lift Tickets?

All unused tickets purchased as part of a Transferable 4-Pack will automatically be transferred to the 2020-21 ski season and valid from opening day 2020 through February 28, 2021. Refunds will not be granted for these days.

Additional information on how to redeem unused tickets next season will be shared around the time that we open for the 2020-21 season. Because we do not collect email addresses for these ticket purchases, please keep an eye on our website for details.
