The beautiful deck of our Black Mountain Lodge is our main wedding venue and is located at mid-mountain, accessed primarily by chairlift. The building is surrounded by the towering, 13,000-foot peaks of the Continental Divide and overlooks large fields of wildflowers. 

Black Mountain Lodge accommodates up to 200 guests. Vaulted ceilings, timber and stone design elements, and floor-to-ceiling windows adorn the interior of this romantic wedding venue. Our lodge provides convenient spaces for your ceremony and reception, eliminating the stress of switching venues during your day. Transform our open room to your specifications—leave space for dancing or create a special space to cut the cake. Cocktail hour can be held outside on the front patio next to your ceremony space.

Travel to and from your venue via the Black Mountain Express chairlift for your procession, a quiet moment with your spouse after the ceremony, or load your entire wedding party for a unique photography session.

Black Mountain Lodge

Black Mountain Lodge is the primary wedding venue at A-Basin, perfect for a full ceremony with beautiful mountain views. Located at 11,500 feet at mid-mountain, the lodge and its deck can accommodate up to 200 people.

If you are looking for a spot to host your rehearsal dinner, luncheon event, or other private party that does not require a ceremony site, the following options are also available:

The 6th Alley Bar & Grill

The 6th Alley is our restaurant located on the 1st floor of the A-Frame lodge. This venue accommodates up to 100 guests. The 2nd level, called Marnie’s, is available if needed at no extra charge. This space is great for a rehearsal dinner or private party held after 6th Alley’s regular daytime hours.

Marnie’s

Marnie’s is our name for the 2nd floor of the A-Frame lodge. This venue accommodates up to 80 guests. Located above 6th Alley, Marnie’s is the balcony level to the main restaurant. This space has a small private bar, room for catering, and access to the 2nd level deck called The Perch. It’s great for a rehearsal luncheon or a private party held during the 6th Alley’s regular daytime hours.

Booking you mountain wedding

Private events consisting of a ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing are available from the last weekend of June through the middle of September.

Scenic chairlift rides

The Black Mountain Express lift is available to your guests any time during your five-hour event, allowing them to come and go as they please.

Exceptions can be made but the Black Mountain Express lift is designed for all ages and abilities to enjoy a safe and fun transportation experience. Check out our lift video to see how easy we make it to get to your mid-mountain venue.
