Scan, Turn, Score

If we learned anything after last winter, Every day on the mountain should count for something.

This season, we're giving skiers and riders even more reasons to scan in, take laps, and celebrate every day on the slopes. Whether you're chasing powder, honing a new skill, or just getting in some laps with friends, our two season-long scan challenges reward you simply for doing what you already love. From the excitement of winning prizes during the first 80 days of the season to milestone rewards that recognize your dedication all year long, there are plenty of opportunities to win throughout the winter.

Skiing isn't just about one perfect day. It's about a collection built over an entire season from early powder mornings to spring afternoons, and every chairlift chat inbetween. Every scan represents another day outside, another turn with friends, another reason we're known as The Legend.

Best of all, participating is easy. Sign up, scan in when you ski or ride, and let your days on the mountain do the work. So, what can you sign up for today to be ready to go on day 1?

This season, we're celebrating 80 years of The Legend. And we're inviting skiers and riders to be part of the celebration starting on day 1 with the Legendary 80 Challenge.

The premise is simple: sign up, scan in, and score. During the first 80 days of the season, every day you scan your pass or lift ticket and hit the slopes earns you another entry to win prizes. The more days you ski during those first 80 days, the more chances you'll have to score. And we're not talking about just one prize. Throughout the challenge, participants will have opportunities to win up to 80 prizes, making this one of the biggest giveaway events we've ever hosted.

The prize lineup includes gear, experiences, and surprises from A-Basin and our partners, but the grand prize is truly legendary. The biggest prize? One lucky winner will take home a Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing trip, giving them the opportunity to experience some of the most notorious terrain and snow conditions in the world.

The Legendary 80 Challenge is all about celebrating our history while rewarding the community that has made A-Basin what it is today. Whether you're a weekend warrior, a powder chaser, or someone who never misses an opportunity to click into your skis, every scan increases your chances to win.

The Legendary Scan Challenge

• Eligiblility: 26/27 Ikon Passes, 26/27 Ikon Base Passes, A-Basin Season Passes, A-Basin Midweek Passes, A-Basin Any Day Packs, A-Basin Midweek Packs.

While the Legendary 80 Challenge focuses on the first 80 days of the season, our second challenge rewards commitment from opening day in October to closing day in June (or July if we pray for snow hard enough). The Legendary Scan Challenge recognizes skiers and riders as they hit key milestones throughout the entirety of Colorado's longest ski and ride season that happens right here at The Legend. Every time you visit A-Basin and scan your pass, your days are automatically counted toward milestone achievements from 2 days to100.

Each milestone comes with opportunities for prizes, rewards, and recognition along the way. Some milestones may arrive sooner than you think, while others become season-defining achievements that represent a winter well spent. The challenge is designed to reward every type of skier and rider. Maybe you visit a few times each season and are excited to hit your first couple milestones. Maybe you're a pass holder looking to achieve 50, 80, or even 100 days before the season wraps up. No matter where you fall on that spectrum, there is always another goal waiting just around the corner.

One of the most rewarding aspects of skiing at A-Basin is watching the mountain change throughout the season. Early-season groomers give way to midwinter powder days. January storms transition into bluebird February laps. Before you know it, spring sunshine arrives and the beach comes alive. The Season-Long Scan Challenge encourages skiers and riders to experience every chapter of the season while earning rewards along the way.
