- Race start: 7:00 a.m. in Mountain Goat Plaza
- Check-in begins at 6:00 a.m. in the Rental Shop
The skin will start in the Base Area and competitors will make their way up Wrangler, with a quick switchback into the woods on Chisholm Trail, then back onto Wrangler to keep ascending up. Here you will traverse through the trees and out along the toe of the East Wall. Continue ascending up past the East Wall into the Cabin Glades and traverse up past the historic cabin ruins switching back to East Gully. Continue in East Gully for a short distance before traversing back across Dragon and Half Moon Glades. Here you will have your first transition to a short boot pack up Half Moon Glades. At the top of Half Moon you will start the descent down West Gully past the bottom of the Lenawee Chairlift to Chisholm Trail where you start ascending up again into Sundance and Lynx Lane. Continue past the south side of the Black Mountain Lodge, up Dercum’s Gulch, to the bottom of the West Wall. Here you will transition to a second boot pack up the West Wall to the Cornice Run. Back to skis and continue up the Cornice Run to an uphill finish inside the Snow Plume Refuge.
