OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES.  A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE OR IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. PURCHASE OF A LIFT TICKET OR SEASON PASS PRODUCT IS NOT REQUIRED TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES BUT IS REQUIRED TO ACCESS THE LIFTS AT ARAPAHOE BASIN SKI AREA.

1. SPONSORS. The Arapahoe Basin Ski Area/Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing “The Legendary 80” 2026 (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Dundee Resort Development LLC dba Arapahoe Basin Ski Area and Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing Limited Partnership (“Mike Wiegele”) (each, individually, and together, “Sponsor”) and the address at which each Sponsor may be contacted is Dundee Resort Development LLC dba Arapahoe Basin Ski Area, 28194 US Hwy 6, PO Box 5808, Dillon, Colorado 80435 and Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing Limited Partnership, P.O. Box 159, 1 Harrwood Drive, Blue River, B.C. V0E 1J0. None of the prize providers (including, without limitation, IKON Pass, Inc., GoPro, Turtlebox, Mammut, Smartwool, or Supergoop! (collectively, the “Prize Providers”) or Meta Platforms, Inc. is a sponsor or administrator of the Sweepstakes, the Sweepstakes is in no way endorsed by any of them, and they shall have no responsibility or liability with respect to the Sweepstakes.

2. ELIGIBILITY.  The Sweepstakes is open only to eligible entrants who, as of the entry date, are: permanent legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (excluding Florida, New York and Rhode Island) who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older and who have reached the age of majority in the state in which they reside. The Sweepstakes is void outside of eligible territories (including in Florida, New York and Rhode Island). The following products are not eligible for participation in the Sweepstakes: A-Basin lift tickets, Alterra Unlimited Passes, complimentary or gratis Ikon Passes, Ikon Session Passes, and Team Summit/Breck/Quantum Passes. Employees, officers, directors, and volunteers of Sponsor, Alterra Mountain Company, the Prize Providers, and all of their respective parents, affiliates (including, without limitation, division), subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members (defined as parents, spouses, children, siblings, grandparents, and their respective spouses) or members of the same household (whether related or not) of each such employee, officer or director, are not eligible to enter. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

3. TIMING.  The Sweepstakes entry period begins at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time (“MT”) on the first day of the Arapahoe Basin Ski Area 2026/27 winter season and ends at 4:00 p.m. MT on the eightieth (80th) Operating Day of the Arapahoe Basin Ski Area 2026/27 winter season (the “Entry Period”). For purposes of these Official Rules, an “Operating Day” means a day on which Arapahoe Basin Ski Area is open to the public for lift-served skiing or snowboarding operations, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes. Entries received other than during the Entry Period, and duplicate entries, will be determined ineligible and will be discarded.

4. HOW TO ENTER.  There are two (2) methods by which to enter the Sweepstakes, both of which are in-person at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area. An entrant may participate using either the Ski/Snowboard-Day Entry Method or the Free Alternative Method of Entry, but not both. Individuals who submit entries through both methods may be disqualified, and Sponsor reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether an entrant has complied with this requirement.

a. TO ENTER VIA SKI/SNOWBOARD-DAY ENTRY METHOD: During the Entry Period, visit the Sweepstakes website located at https://www.arapahoebasin.com/blog/scan-turn-score/ (the “Sweepstakes Website”) and complete the following steps: (i) fill out the Sweepstakes entry form to register as an entrant, (ii) complete all required registration information, including the same email address associated with the participant’s Eligible Product so that qualifying lift-access scans may be linked to participant’s Sweepstakes registration; and (iii) accept these Official Rules. Eligible participants who possess a valid Eligible Product (as defined below) will receive entries based on qualifying ski/snowboard activity at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area occurring during the Entry Period, including qualifying ski/snowboard activity occurring prior to registration. Uphill access-only days do not qualify for an entry. A valid lift-access scan associated with an Eligible Product is required for a ski/snowboard day to constitute a qualifying entry. Eligible products include: 2026/27 Ikon Passes, 2026/27 Ikon Base Passes, A-Basin Season Passes, A-Basin Midweek Passes, A-Basin Any Day Packs, and A-Basin Midweek Packs (each, an “Eligible Product”). A participant will receive one (1) Sweepstakes entry for each qualifying ski/snowboard day during the Entry Period. A “qualifying ski/snowboard day” means a day during which the participant records at least one (1) valid lift-access scan associated with an Eligible Product at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area. All qualifying ski/snowboard days occurring during the Entry Period will count toward Sweepstakes entries, regardless of when the participant registers for the Sweepstakes. Participants may earn a maximum of eighty (80) entries through ski/snowboard activity regardless of the number of qualifying ski/snowboard days achieved. Participants entering through the Ski/Snowboard-Day Entry Method are not eligible to participate through the Free Alternative Method of Entry.

b. TO ENTER VIA FREE ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF ENTRY: During the Entry Period, visit Guest Services at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area and obtain an official entry form (“Official Entry Form”). Once you have fully completed the Official Entry Form by legibly hand printing all requested information on the form and depositing the completed form in the Official Entry Form deposit box located at Guest Services, you will be automatically eligible to receive one (1) entry in the Sweepstakes. Entries will only be accepted at Guest Services during its normal business hours during the Entry Period. Eligible entrants may submit a maximum of eighty (80) Official Entry Forms during the Entry Period; however, each Official Entry Form must be submitted separately on a different day, and no entrant may submit more than one (1) Official Entry Form per day. By submitting an Official Entry Form through the Free Alternative Method of Entry, an entrant acknowledges that he or she is not participating in the Sweepstakes through the Ski/Snowboard-Day Entry Method.

LIMIT: The maximum number of entries per person in the Prize Drawing (as defined below) is eighty (80) entries in the Sweepstakes. Entrants may participate through either the Ski/Snowboard-Day Entry Method or the Free Alternative Method of Entry, but not both. No entrant may receive more than eighty (80) total entries, regardless of entry method or the number of qualifying ski/snowboard days achieved.  All entries must be received by Sponsor during the Entry Period.  Any attempt by any participant to obtain additional entries beyond the limit by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant’s entries and that entrant may be disqualified.  Submitting mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices is prohibited and will result in disqualification. In the event of a dispute as to an entrant’s entry, the natural person who is the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant, but only if that person is otherwise eligible to enter the Sweepstakes.  The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned to an email address by an Internet service provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.  Each potential winner may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.  If a dispute cannot be resolved to Sponsor’s satisfaction, the winning entrant may be deemed ineligible.  All ski/snowboard performance and entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and none will be acknowledged or returned.  Proof of submission will not be deemed proof of receipt of entry by Sponsor.  All entrants and entries are subject to verification prior to the awarding of the prize, as are the eligibility, age and other claims of/information provided by a potential prize winner.

5. AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES AND DECISIONS. The Sweepstakes will be run in accordance with these Official Rules, subject to amendment by Sponsor (the “Official Rules”). By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to be bound by and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor (including, without limitation, decisions regarding eligibility of entries, the selection of entrants and the winner, and the awarding of a prize), which are final and binding in all respects.  Entrants and winners must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and participation and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements.

6. PRIZE DRAWING; ODDS; NOTIFICATION. 

a. PRIZE DRAWING; ODDS: There will be one (1) prize drawing in the Sweepstakes (the “Drawing”) for one (1) grand prize winner and seventy-nine (79) runner-up prize winners. Sponsor will randomly select potential winners from among the pool of eligible entries by using the software designed for this purpose on Sponsor’s computer. The Drawing will occur on or about fourteen (14) days after the close of the Entry Period, and the potential winners will be announced at approximately the same time. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received by Sponsor in the Sweepstakes.  A selected entrant must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements.

b. NOTIFICATION: The potential winners will be notified by the email address provided during Sweepstakes registration. Each potential winner selected must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Each potential winner will be required to execute and return to Sponsor a Declaration of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and, except where prohibited by law, a Publicity Release (a “Declaration and Release”) in the form(s) provided by Sponsor in order to claim his/her prize. The Declaration and Release must be returned to Sponsor by the date and/or time within the Declaration and Release. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within seventy-two (72) hours of the first attempt to contact him/her, or if a potential winner fails to return the Declaration and Release with the specified time, or if any prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or if a potential winner is found to be ineligible by Sponsor in its sole discretion, or if a potential winner does not comply with the Official Rules, then the potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate potential winner selected by Sponsor in the Sweepstakes. In such event, an alternate potential prize winner will be notified as described above and will be required to return the required documents to Sponsor as described above; provided, however, Sponsor may alter the above timing to meet its Sweepstakes schedule.

7. PRIZES.  Subject to the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, eighty (80) prizes will be awarded in this Sweepstakes (1 grand prize and 79 runner-up prizes). LIMIT: One (1) prize per person or household.

a. GRAND PRIZE. The grand prize will consist of and be limited to (i) one (1) 3-day Deluxe Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing Package for the winner at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing during the 2026-27 or 2027-28 ski season, with an approximate retail value (“ARV”) of $6,505 USD and (ii) two (2) Turtlebox Ranger Speakers, with an ARV of $250 each (collectively, the “Grand Prize”). The total ARV of the Grand Prize is $7,005 USD. The Grand Prize may only be awarded to and redeemed by a winner who is at least nineteen (19) years of age at the time of Grand Prize acceptance and travel. Any potential Grand Prize winner who does not satisfy this requirement will be deemed ineligible to receive the Grand Prize and will be disqualified. Sponsor will then select an alternate Grand Prize winner in accordance with these Official Rules. The Grand Prize includes:

• Three (3) nights' standard accommodation for winner (subject to availability)
• Three (3) gourmet meals per day
• Complimentary use of powder-specific skis and/or snowboards
• Use of personal safety gear
• One (1) seat for the winner in Deluxe helicopter
• Guided heli-skiing
• Unlimited vertical
• Transportation is provided to and from the Kamloops airport on Saturdays only.

The Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing trip can be booked for the 2026-27 season, subject to availability, but must be redeemed by the end of the 2027-28 ski season. Trip must be booked at least two (2) weeks in advance.

If a trip of lesser value is booked, no refund will be issued. The Grand Prize is valid for new bookings only and cannot be used as payment for an already existing booking. If the guaranteed vertical is not reached, a refund will not apply.

The winner will be notified by email of how to redeem the Grand Prize and will be responsible for booking airfare and accommodations prior to and following the trip. Arrangements are all subject to space availability. Once confirmed, accommodation arrangements cannot be changed.

The Grand Prize is subject to these additional requirements and restrictions:

Winner must be at least a strong intermediate skier/boarder. Winner must be capable of dealing with the challenges presented by deep snow, helicopter transportation, and backcountry skiing. If winner is unable to satisfy these criteria, Mike Wiegele reserves the right to restrict winner from skiing or snowboarding.

Winner will be responsible for all costs, expenses and incidentals that are not specifically stated as being included in the Grand Prize, including but not limited to, airfare, accommodations before and following the trip, personal items, food, alcohol purchases, extra skiing meters, refund in the event guaranteed vertical feet is not achieved, massages, retail purchases, gratuities, taxes, and insurance. Winner is responsible for ensuring that he/she has any and all required travel documentation and identification, including passports and visas as applicable, and to ensure that such travel documentation or identification is valid prior to and for the entire duration of travel, and to comply with any customs and immigration requirements. The Grand Prize activities, including, without limitation, heli-skiing, are subject to weather, safety and other similar limitations and restrictions, as well as the duration of the 2026-27 ski season and the 2027-28 ski season, respectively, which may be affected by many factors, including but not limited to, snow conditions, runs open, unusually harsh weather, pandemic or epidemic, travel advisories, public health or government order, or any other event or occurrence, as determined by Mike Wiegele in its sole discretion, which may result in limitation of the Grand Prize and/or which may limit or prohibit Mike Wiegele from conducting its operations. Winner must elect to redeem the Grand Prize during either the 2026-27 ski season or the 2027-28 ski season. If winner elects to redeem the Grand Prize during the 2026-27 ski season and any of the foregoing circumstances impact winner’s ability to use the Grand Prize, no cash or other consideration will be provided to winner, but winner may reschedule his/her use of the Grand Prize to the 2027-28 ski season. No compensation of any kind other than this optional rescheduling will be provided under any circumstances whatsoever. If winner elects to redeem the Grand Prize during the 2027-28 ski season, or if the Grand Prize rescheduled to the 2027-28 ski season is impacted by any of the foregoing circumstances, no further rescheduling, compensation, reimbursement, substitute prize or other consideration will be provided. The Grand Prize must be redeemed by the end of the 2027-28 ski season, after which it shall automatically expire and be forfeited. Only one (1) rebooking will be permitted. It is recommended that winner obtains sufficient personal travel insurance prior to departure. If winner decides not to travel due to reasons other than the foregoing, the Grand Prize will be forfeited, no alternative prize will be awarded, and no credit or reimbursement will be awarded. Sponsor will not replace lost or stolen travel documents.

The Grand Prize is also conditional on winner signing Mike Wiegele’s standard Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risk, Warning, Indemnity and Consent to Medical Treatment Agreement (“Waiver”) no later than 30 days prior to the first day of their trip, after which date winner will forfeit their Grand Prize. Should winner refuse to sign the Waiver prior to the trip, they will be unable to join the trip and they will not be entitled to any other compensation from Sponsor as a result of such cancellation.

b. RUNNER-UP PRIZES. The runner-up prizes (each, a “Runner-Up Prize” and collectively, the “Runner-Up Prizes”) shall consist solely of the prizes identified in the Runner-Up Prize table below, in the quantities and with the ARVs set forth therein. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, remove, add to, replace, or otherwise revise any Runner-Up Prize, prize category, quantity, or ARV at any time prior to award. If any advertised Runner-Up Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value in its sole discretion.

c. ALL PRIZES. The Grand Prize and the Runner-Up Prizes may each be referred to hereinafter individually as a “Prize” and collectively, as the “Prizes”. The aggregate ARV of all Prizes to be awarded in this Sweepstakes is USD$21,535.77. If the actual retail value of a Prize is greater than the ARV stated in these Official Rules, the difference will not be awarded in cash or credit.

Prizes are non-transferable, non-assignable, non-negotiable, and not redeemable for cash or credit, except as otherwise provided in these Official Rules. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Prizes are awarded “AS IS” with no warranty, condition, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, made by Sponsor or for which Sponsor shall be liable, including, without limitation, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND WINNER ASSUMES ANY AND ALL RISK OF USING THE PRIZE, INCLUDING PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH. No Prize substitutions, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right (but has no obligation) to substitute a prize (or a component thereof) with another prize of comparable or greater value (including cash) if a Prize (or a component thereof) is not available for any reason as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Unused components of a Prize shall be forfeited and have no redeemable cash value. Winner is solely and fully responsible for any and all costs, fees, taxes, assessments and expenses associated with Prize award, redemption, receipt and use not specified in the applicable Prize description above, including, without limitation, all international, federal, state and local taxes on a Prize. Winner will be issued an IRS Form 1099 for the actual retail value of the Prize. Winner waives the right to assert as a cost of winning a prize and any and all costs of verification and redemption or travel to redeem a Prize. Non-compliance with any of the foregoing and any other condition of this Sweepstakes may result in disqualification and forfeiture of Prize, in which case, no consideration will be awarded.

8. PUBLICITY.  Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes winner’s consent to Sponsor’s (and its successors’ and assigns’) use of winner’s name, biography, likeness, voice, photographs, video, opinions, statements, hometown, state and country for promotional purposes in any manner or media (including, without limitation, online), worldwide, in perpetuity, and without further payment, consideration, attribution, notice, review or consent.

9. GENERAL CONDITIONS.  Sponsor reserves the right to require entrants to complete, execute and deliver to Sponsor additional documents at any time as required, in the forms provided, and within the timeframe required by Sponsor, or the entrant and participants may be disqualified.  Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes if, in Sponsor’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if viruses, bugs, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical difficulties or failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes.  In such event, Sponsor reserves the right (but does not have the obligation) in its sole discretion to award the prize at random from among eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of suspected impairment.  Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.  Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of this Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.  Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision of these Official Rules.

10. RELEASE.  By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant forever and irrevocably RELEASES, DISCHARGES, INDEMNIFIES AND HOLDS HARMLESS, Sponsor, Alterra Mountain Company, The Prize Providers, Meta Platforms, Inc., and each of their parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, and their respective agents, advertising and promotion agencies, affiliates, and all of their respective employees, officers, directors, shareholders and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against all losses, claims, damages, liabilities, costs or expenses (collectively, “Losses”), arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant’s entry and/or participation in the Sweepstakes and/or entrant’s award, receipt or use of any prize awarded in the Sweepstakes (including, without limitation, by participating in any activities at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area or Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing). The foregoing release includes, without limitation, any and all LIABILITY, BODILY INJURY, DEATH, LOSS OR DAMAGE to entrant or any third party arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from any prize or the use of any prize, the award, acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize (including, without limitation, by participating in any activities at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area or Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing), and entry and participation in the Sweepstakes including, but not limited to, on account of negligence of Sponsor and/or resort personnel, employees or volunteers. Each entrant further COVENANTS NOT TO SUE any of the Releasees with respect to any matter addressed by the foregoing release, or encourage or assist any third party in doing so. This is a complete RELEASE and DISCHARGE of all claims and rights of each entrant against the Releasees and no action will be taken by or on behalf of an entrant with respect to any such claims and rights, it being understood that these Official Rules, including this Rule 10, shall be binding upon each entrant, and his/her successors, assignees, subrogors, insurers, heirs, next of kin, executors, representatives, and legal and personal representatives. 

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.  The Released Parties are not responsible for: (a) incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information or late, lost, stolen, unintelligible, illegible, damaged, mutilated, altered, incomplete, or misdirected entries or entries received through impermissible or illegitimate channels, all of which will be disqualified; (b) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any telephone, computer online systems, computer equipment, website, server provider, network, hardware or software; (c) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any website or service; (d) unauthorized intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (e) printing, typographical, electronic or human errors which may occur in the offer or administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (f) any injury or damage to persons or property, including but not limited to entrant’s computer, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes, or from viewing, playing or downloading any material from Sponsor’s website(s), regardless of whether the material was prepared by Sponsor or a third party, and regardless of whether the material is connected to Sponsor’s websites by a hypertext link.

12. DISPUTES.  Each entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prizes awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and solely and exclusively in state or federal courts located in Summit County, Colorado; entrant submits to sole and exclusive personal jurisdiction to said courts in the State of Colorado for any such dispute and irrevocably waives any and all rights to object to such jurisdiction; (b) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred in connection with entering this Sweepstakes but in no event legal or attorneys’ fees; and (c) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket costs, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.  SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.  All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant or Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Colorado, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules of provisions (whether of the State of Colorado, the United States, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Colorado.

13. PRIVACY/DATA COLLECTION.  Entrants provide personal information on the entry form when they enter this Sweepstakes.  Each Sponsor collects this information and uses it to (a) administer this Sweepstakes and (b) for market research and other marketing purposes.  For more information about the ways each Sponsor uses and shares personal information collected online through its website, please see the Privacy Policy of Sponsor located at https://www.alterramtnco.com/privacy-policy/. In the event of any conflict between the Privacy Policy and these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall govern.

14. OFFICIAL RULES.  These Official Rules are available at the Sweepstakes website located at https://www.arapahoebasin.com/blog/scan-turn-score/The Legendary 80 2026 – Rules Request,” c/o Dundee Resort Development LLC dba Arapahoe Basin Ski Area, 28194 US Hwy 6, PO Box 5808, Dillon, Colorado 80435, Attn: Marketing Dept. Vermont residents may omit return postage.

15.
