As the sun is just kissing the top of The Professor, the snowmakers are celebrating an outstanding session. Currently, the wet bulb is 15 F. Over the last 36+ hours, the crew has converted a good chunk of water into snow on High Noon. I anticipate that we make snow for another few hours. By afternoon, it will probably have warmed up enough that we shut down the system. That said, tonight looks clear and cold and we should have another good round of snowmaking. This is a really good and productive start. Last night's snowmaking conditions and output were what ski area geeks (like me) dream about.
