Last summer and fall, I did a few posts on our North Fork Snake River stream rehabilitation project. From the bottom of the North Fork ski trail, the stream ran under Wrangler in a culvert. The culvert was old and tired and we removed it. Instead of replacing the culvert, we rebuilt the stream channel to mimic a natural stream channel. Last year we posted photos, but it was hard to really visualize the stream because flows are so low that time of year. Right now the stream is cranking along and looks great. Over the summer, we will place several more several more native plants with the long term objective of creating a healthy, lush stream channel.
