For much of last night and for about half an hour this morning we had a very nice, steady, gentle rain. I am happy to see rain or snow just about any time. Very soon after the morning shower, the sun popped out and big patches blue sky were visible. It turned into a beautiful day to enjoy The Basin. The wild flowers are just getting going and the timing of this new moisture is ideal. I am expecting a tremendous wild flower show the next several weeks.
