Late morning today I rode Black Mountain Express to mid-mountain. From there I walked up to the Steilhang Hut via the Up At Arapaphoe Trail. The flowers were out, the day was beautiful, the hiking was fun. I was rewarded with a Weisswurst with sauerkraut on a scrumptious bun. From the deck I could spot several parties out climbing the Via Ferrata. Steilhang Hut is open Saturdays and Sundays through August 17. Check it out the nice hike and the food.
