The Summit Foundation is a local community organization dedicated to improving life in Summit County for its citizens and guests. Since its founding, the Foundation has donated 57 million dollars to more than 100 local non profits. Last week they held their annual philanthropy awards. Arapahoe Basin was lucky to receive the Outstanding Business Award afer being nominated by the Summit High Ski Manufacturing Class and Mountain Dreamers. It was quite an honor to be recognized by these outstanding groups. As part of their project, the high school team made a pair of beautiful skis for the A-Basin staff. The evening was a wonderful community event and a great time to catch up with old friends. This community is lucky to have the Summit Foundation.
Also, I think it is going to snow this weekend.
