I just did a pre-Pali opening tour with Louis. Oh my. I can't believe how good the snow is. The grooming is perfection, but on top of that, I had some great powder skiing on Radical and Slalom Slope. We had some sweet (and deep) turns on Norway also. The Pali Lift opening has come together quite well. We either already have, or will be opening all kinds of terrain today. Cornice Run, West Wall, Slalom Slope, Radical, Powderkeg, Humbug, Lenawee Parks, Humbug, Landing Strip and a few more nuggets. Today is a nearly perfect, crisp, cold, bluebird, Colorado winter day. This is an excellent time to be skiing The Basin.
