I am here to report that today was another fine day of skiing. We received a bit more new snow (for 3 days in a row) and I had fun everywhere I skied. It was another Rocky Mountain bluebird day which just makes everyone smile.
With Arapahoe Basin being part of Alterra now, CMH Heli Skiing is a sister company of ours. It has been very cool for me to learn so much more about this great organization. The folks from CMH are doing a promotion at A-Basin this weekend. There is a display set up in Mountain Goat Plaza where they are doing virtual reality heli skiing tours. I know that may sound a little silly, but I just participated in the 5-minute tour and it was fantastic.The imagery of flying in the Canadian Rockies and skiing big mountain glaciers was a treat. They will be here again on Sunday from 10 - 3. If you are around, please take the time to do the VR tour. It is so fun and, I suspect, you will love it.
