From the top of Half Moon, in the foreground there is a great view of mid-mountian including Black Mountain Lodge and the loading station of Lenawee Express. In the background there is an excellent view of the Continental Divide and Loveland Pass. The Half Moon Trail offers a high alpine, mile long walk and is easily accessed from the top of Black Mountain Express.
