Elevated Summer Dining

This summer, dining at The Basin isn’t just about grabbing a bite—it’s about the experience. From harp-backed brunches at 11,400 feet to Colorado-crafted cocktails at sunset, we’re rolling out a fresh slate of elevated (literally) culinary events that take full advantage of our stunning mountain setting. Here’s a look at what’s cooking this summer at A-Basin:

One-of-a-Kind Events

Sunday Brunch in the Clouds

  • August 31, 2025 | Black Mountain Lodge
  • $65 per person | $30 for ages 11–16

We’re taking brunch to new heights. Ride the chairlift up to 11,400 feet and treat yourself to a scenic and serene Sunday Brunch at Black Mountain Lodge. This one-day-only event is designed to help you unplug, breathe deep, and savor the final days of summer with a full belly and full heart.

You’ll dine surrounded by towering peaks and late-summer wildflowers. Live harp music by local musician Janet Harriman sets the mood for a relaxing escape into the high alpine.  Enjoy a Build Your Own Mimosa Bar, fresh pastries, and Colorado inspired dishes. Think fresh, seasonal brunch favorites and a vibe that feels equal parts luxury and laid-back mountain culture.

Farm-to-Table Wildflower Dinner

  • Friday, August 1, 2025 | Black Mountain Lodge
  • $125 per person, includes gratuity and tax

Celebrate the height of wildflower season with our Farm-to-Table Dinner, an elevated dining experience that captures the beauty—and the bounty—of a Colorado summer.

After a scenic chairlift ride to mid-mountain, you’ll enjoy an open-seating dinner on the deck of Black Mountain Lodge, surrounded by sweeping views and fields of blooms. Our culinary team will prepare a multi-course menu highlighting seasonal ingredients sourced from local farms and producers.

Your evening begins with a complimentary Mile High Spirits Hibiscus Spritz, the perfect welcome cocktail crafted with Colorado-made spirits.  Local wines will be available for purchase to complement your meal.

Clam Bake at the Basin

  • Sunday, September 14, 2025 | 6th Alley
  • $62 per adult | $36 per child

A-Basin’s Clam Bake is serving East Coast flavor with a Rocky Mountain twist. This one-day celebration of seafood and community will feature a classic clam bake dinner complete with all the fixings: clams, mussels, corn on the cob, and more.

Arrive early for cocktail hour, where you can sip on signature drinks and soak up the sunshine with friends and neighbors. Dinner begins at 4:30 PM, and we'll round out the event with live music (band to be announced). Whether you're a lifelong seafood lover or just here for the mountain vibes, this event is sure to satisfy.

Reserve Early, Stay Late

These dining events are designed to elevate your summer. From thoughtfully sourced meals to music-filled mountain moments, A-Basin’s summer culinary program invites you to savor the season in a way only we can offer.
