Legends of The Legend introduces you to skiers and riders who are Arapahoe Basin regulars. To be a "local" doesn't necessarily mean you live here, or are the best on the mountain, or have been around for 40 years.
We're celebrating all kinds of locals who have come to know and love this place for their own reasons, and the extra effort they put in for their skiing or snowboarding passion. We appreciate these individuals who make time for our mountain in their busy lives, and invite you to get to know A-Basin through their eyes and experiences.
First up is Nina Waters. She learned to ski at A-Basin on a pair of skis she found in a dumpster. From her first pizza turns, Nina knew skiing had to be a part of her life.
