Opening Day Run Down
It’s finally here – at long last, the winter season has arrived! We will begin spinning lifts for the season on October 26, 2025, at 8:30 A.M. If you’re planning on ringing in another season with us, all the info you need is right here.
The details:
The Black Mountain Express will be running from 8:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. servicing High Noon, a mountain-blue run.
Opening day is not only filled with good vibes at the start of our favorite season, but we have a fool-proof plan to make sure the party is always alive: First-come-first-serve donuts, stickers, and more in the lift line; the launch of our 6th Alley Mug Club (also first-come-first-serve if you are not renewing); and a local legend of a DJ at the base area.

Ikon Pass offers unlimited skiing & riding at A-Basin for the 25/26 winter season. The Ikon Pass, along with an A-Basin Season Pass, is the best way to access The Legend all season long, whenever you like. Plus, check out a laundry list of benefits here.
NEW for this early season, Ikon Base Pass holders have unlimited access until December 19, 2025. After that date, Ikon Base Pass holders have 5 days to be used throughout the season. Kick off your season strong, then maybe consider upgrading after you’ve had a taste of the good stuff this fall.
If you still need to purchase, lift tickets will go on sale at noon today (10/25). Get your lift ticket online and in advance! Ikon Pass Holders get 50% off Friends & Family tickets October 1-30. Tickets must be purchased during this timeframe but can be used at any time throughout the season.
Haven’t received your pass in the mail yet or need to pick up a single day lift ticket? Head to our Guest Services office to have your lift ticket, A-Basin, or Ikon Pass printed!
Eat
The 6th Alley Bar & Grill, Legends Cafe, and Black Mountain Lodge will be open beginning October 26. These restaurants will be serving limited menus on opening day.
- The 6th Alley Bar & Grill will be open from 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.
- Black Mountain Lodge will be open from 10:30 A.M. - 2:00 P.M.
- Legends Cafe will be open 7:15 A.M. - 10:30 A.M.
Stay

Arapahoe Sports will be fully stocked with A-Basin gear, goggles, helmets, gloves, and tons of cool stuff.
Our tune shop and rental shop will be open. If you need a tune, drop your equipment in the rental shop and we will get it back to you as quickly as possible. And don’t forget to reserve your rentals online in advance for exclusive discounts!
Looking for a refresh or just starting fresh? Lessons start in November. Be sure to book those online in advance!
Beach reservations will go on sale Oct. 30 – The Beach is first-come, first-serve for opening day.
